BSc (Hons) nurse practitioner, extended formulary independent and supplementary nurse prescribing, registered mental health nurse
Carole is our highly trained prescribing practitioner. She works very closely with our doctors providing day to day care for our patients. Most of our on the day appointments in surgery are with Carole, who deals with patient symptoms presented on a daily basis with great care and by prescribing medication and submitting hospital referrals in the same way our GPs do, if appropriate. Carole is the ideal person to see if you have an infection requiring antibiotics, rashes, muscular pains (including back, neck or chest pain), ongoing aches, pains and fatigue or require contraceptive advice/medication. She also carries out most of our medication reviews for ongoing prescription medication, such as cholesterol, depression and anxiety medication.
