The practice building is currently undergoing adjustments to include installation of screens for the reception desk and an intercom system for the main entrance doors. We will also be installing floor markings for safe access and social distancing for all our patients. Chairs will also be marked out and placed 2 metres apart.
For safety purposes we continue to offer telephone triage & where appropriate video call appointments with our GPs and Nurse Practitioners and when contacting the practice for an appointment you will initially be offered a telephone consultation with the most appropriate person. Should you be asked to come in for a face to face appointment with a GP or attend for an essential nurse appointment all our clinical staff will be wearing full PPE to consult with you. We would also kindly ask that all patients attending appointments cover their faces with a mask, scarf or something else they have available. This ensures your safety and that of our staff at all times whilst in the building. We also ask that where possible you only come into the surgery at your allotted appointment time. This is for your own safety and to help us manage social distancing within the waiting area.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience and understanding while we get to grips with this very different way of working. We’d also like to thank those patients and their children for the wonderful cards, pictures, and drawings you have sent in. They have certainly brightened our days and we thank you wholeheartedly.
