Did you know that the NHS have launched a Community Pharmacy Consultation Scheme?
The aim is to direct patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional. which may be a GP, a Nurse Practitioner, or a pharmacist.
If your symptoms could be resolved by a booked consultation with a pharmacist, you will be given a same day referral to a local pharmacy. The pharmacist will then contact you by telephone to discuss your symptoms.
Pharmacists are highly trained, skilled clinicians experienced in treating minor illnesses.
